Sausage Balls

1 lb Tennessee Pride hot sausage
3 c bisquick baking mix
8 oz shredded cheddar
bring sausage and cheese to room temp. Mix together well. Knead in baking mix a little at a time until thoroughly blended. roll in 1" balls and bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.
variation: add 1/2 c chopped onion and 1/2 t garlic powder to baking mix before blending into sausage and cheese
